A short Poem : The Joy of pain

in Freewriters2 years ago

Oh joy, the pain, it pulses through my veins,
A bittersweet pleasure that never wanes,
It twists and turns, a fiery dance,
That consumes me whole, in its sweet romance.

With each passing throb, I feel alive,
A surge of electricity that I cannot deny,
It pierces my soul, like a sharpened knife,
And fills me with a sensation that's hard to describe.

It's like a storm, that rages inside,
A tempest that cannot be denied,
Yet amidst the chaos, there's a sense of calm,
That washes over me, like a soothing balm.

For in this pain, I find a sense of release,
A freedom that comes from within,
It's like a key that unlocks the deepest peace,
And allows me to let go of all my sins.

So I embrace this pain, with open arms,
And let it wash over me, like a swarm,
For in its midst, I find a joy,
That's pure and simple, like a child's toy.

Oh joy, the pain, it's a paradox indeed,
But it's a paradox that I've learned to heed,
For in this pain, I find a sense of truth,
A truth that's raw, and real, and pure.
joy of pain.webp
