The Shadow | Original Poem

The stones, like dust, crumble away,
Built by titans long ago,
The sky is falling, the sky is falling,
The shadow will be slain.

Fires rising, a twisting hatred,
The hearts of men cannot be quelled,
band together, band together,
we march toward our destruction.

Ancient symbols will save us now,
Our forefathers who we have abandoned,
save the children, save the children,
Dead men give no living answer.

Blood running like a river,
The ground will cry out to the heavens,
The sky is falling, the sky is falling,
The shadow will be slain.
