I'm starting to think that all this "goodness" in the market is harming my future...
It's not that I'm not happy that everything is at its highest, it's that, at my age, my long-term strategy is already facing its final stretch...at least as far as my DGI strategy is concerned.
Yes, sometimes, the fact of continually "getting it right" in the market, for a strategy of increasing dividends is not all that is needed.
This year I have again had an unrealized profit of 15%, in fact, since I started with this new "hobby" almost 3 years ago, my portfolio is up more than 27%, that is, 9% annualized the last three years and counting dividends.
The truth is that I'm happy, I'm not going to deny it, but, I'm aware that the drawdown will come, sooner or later. It always happens.
The only problem with drawdown is not that it eventually happens but when.
I'm going to tell you a secret, I want the stock market to go down so I can buy at a discount all those shares that I need to give me a good return when I "retire."

Yes, friends, once you experience the pleasures of DGI investing, what you want is for historically "excellent" companies to go down a bit so you can buy at a high yield that will compound over time...this hasn't happened lately as much as I would like but the time will come, I just hope this happens sooner rather than later as time is against me.
Perhaps, I have the same feeling with BITCOIN...however, you have to enjoy the moment as well, don't you think?
Cheers,
It's the normal cycle of the market. Things go up and down, and I tend to think that it won't happen until a bear market in the stock/crypto market. I still think BTC might not make it that low though.
I am sure we will get a decent drawdown at the stock market within the Next 12-18 months. As you said, its getting due.
