Life from 19 year old perspective

in Freewriters2 years ago

Hello HIVERs, I'm back with another blog, but this time its different my experience, Hope you enjoy it

College

It's about time I go to college for my further studies, feeling excited yet confused, confused why? in the beginning I was preparing for medschool entrance exam (NEET), but midway I realized I don't want to study medicine, so dropped the idea of becoming doctor and started preparing for Engineering entrance exam (JEE), now with full dedication and new motivation, I studied and did well in exam.

what did I learn here? life can be unpredictable, just when you thought all thing are sorted out, you realize its actually not

Kota

The place where I went for 2 year and never in my life want to go back

why?

Kota is known for its perfect blend of Education with culture, where lacs of students being polished through systematic coaching for IIT JEE (Advanced), JEE (Main), NEET-UG, KVPY, NTSE and National and International Olympiads,

seems good, why do you never want to visit here again?

"suicide" Its funny that your dreams becomes your downfall, ofcourse everyone has there own obstacles and there coping mechanism, but in a place like INDIA, there is this unique collective rat race for fulfilling there dreams, and if those dreams are not fulfilled, students takes unreasonable steps of overcome it. i.e. "suicide"

I personally have heard 7 suicide cases in just over 7 months, Its so disheartening to see those teenagers taking their lives like its nothing.

what did I learn here? you got to have thick skin in order to survive here, life gives you that thick skin when you gain more experience, I was just a gullible kid who was hitting puberty when I went to Kota, as a result became Stoic, pessimistic and optimistic

lets cool down "inhale"

GYM

I started working out about 2 month ago, I still remember the first day when I went there, felt like everyone was staring at me, while I was the one staring at them, lol
The one thing that everyone at the gym talk about is Consistency "be consistent, you'll see gains"

Consistency is the key, not only at the gym but at any work,

one thing I realize is that you are always learning something new everyday if not every week, personally, right now I'm learning budgeting, cryptocurrencies, hive, content writing and many more stuffs, for which I'm getting paid too (awesome)

Self Improvement

This is the best gift you can give to yourself, I was reading the book ATOMIC HABITS

If you get one percent better each day for one year, you'll end up thirty-seven times better by the time you're done

and this statement made me wonder how wonderful it is.
I'm not the best to talk about self improvement here.
I'm still learning
That reminds me of last sketch that I drew
