Haha I was wondering where that was going and it settles back to the majesty and power of nature.
I often picture nature taking back everything in this small town. When the rich topple from the balconies of the houses of cards and squash the little people, the nature that has patiently bided its time will reclaim what we pretend is ours.
Solid stuff.
Thanks, and well said! I wrote it last night, but chose not to publish it because I didn't understand it. When I read it this morning, it said to me what you just said.
I love your use of the word majesty - there is no other king than nature. Any dictates from a king are no more worthy than dictates of my own. Of late, there have been many self-proclaimed kings. Nature values them no more than it does me. It's comforting to me to know this. That I am nothing. It really takes a lot of pressure off! This knowledge gives me the power to follow my own heart, and no other's. Freedom!
Absolutely.
Yesterday while driving somewhere I was reflecting upon how insubstantial I am when you consider the billions of years the universe has been existence, the speck of time that humanity has existed, and the scratch in the scratch on the surface my life plays in that.
It can make you feel insignificant for sure but it can also give you perspective on how small our problems are and throw the chains off. Just enjoy the nature and interacting with organisms for a simple and meaningful life.
I think this is a human being's greatest power, to embody peace and love on the planet. We've been led astray by tales of other purposes, and been weakened thereby, enslaved. Until now. The Age of Aquarius and all that. Rejoice!
