Give me a few minutes, listen to me for a moment,
the words whisper in the wind,
confess that I can't stop thinking about you,
in every shadow, in every instant.
The clock stops, the silence advances,
and in the echo of your name, I lose the balance.
Let me say goodbye, even if it hurts to say goodbye,
where a sigh becomes a voice.
Maybe my hands wouldn't try to reach,
more hopes that the sea can't keep.
In this corner of the starry night,
I'm left with the comfort of your gaze.
The moon looks at me, accomplice of sorrow,
silent witness of this love,
that in every heartbeat, in every whisper,
I keep the sadness of a love that is a murmur.
Your poem dances gracefully between longing and farewell. I enjoyed all the nature imagery, the wind, the sea, the moon reflecting as they do the emotions of the piece.
