I have come to understand that healing does not mean erasing,
that every wound carries history,
that time is a whisper that teaches us how to love
that moving on does not mean forgetting,
it is to open a book where sometimes it hurts to read,
but the old pages invite us to stay
in the here, in the now, in the dawn.
Some wounds do not disappear; they soften,
they move like shadows in the light of day,
like the wind that caresses the face and warns that the past is part of our melody.
that the past is part of our melody.
I have come to understand that love unfolds
in the deep acceptance of what is to be,
that every wound is light, and the heart refuses to forget the past.
to forget the past, but chooses to be reborn.
