Forbid me not

Forbid me not to paint you and I don't paint you,
the waves of the sea in your eyes murmur to me,
the colours of the sky that one day I glimpse,
melt into lotuses of dark nights.

Forbid me not to see you and not verse you,
your laughter is the music that dances in my veins,
each word is a song, a sweet universe,
each syllable your name, a wake on the sands.

But loving you is more different, no one can deny that,
your caresses are strokes that draw my essence,
on the canvas of time, you are my will,
beyond prohibitions, we are pure presence.

Good to see and sound to here from your perspective of reality.

A mixed feeling poem.

Greetings.
