I fell in love

I fell in love, and though reason screams at me,
in the whisper of her laughter I found my home,
no matter the time that with shadows shelters me,
her essence is a fire that burns without ceasing.

Of her age, of her kisses, a sweet excess,
each caress a verse, each glance a sea,
in her embrace I lost all my excess,
and in her being I found myself, I stopped sailing.

I fell in love with his eyes, two stars,
that illuminate the path where I walk,
reflections of life, they whisper mysteries,
and within their brightness, I'm ready to dream.

No matter the judgement that in voices peeps out,
nor the label that life imposes,
it's a love without fear, a love that peeks out,
a deep heartbeat that never sounds.
