a stranger looked at me
from within the mirror.
It’s left behind and found
again and again.
as I pass a ripe fig tree
unlocks a memory.
Instead of apologies,
always give thanks.
where I am when I see you
on the horizon.
But I’ve known a place without grass,
and it’s greener there.
It’s two in the morning.
I heard you calling.
Lovely poems, no.6 was very controversial and i loved it ..

Controversial? In what way, I wonder. Other people seem to find that one interesting, too.
Your short films always attract attention, always expressing lyrics about life and experiences. They always think about the content beyond each word.
Thanks for sharing.
Good day.
Thank you for always commenting. 😊
Boy if #1 isn't true everyday...
Hope you guys are having fun in America!
The bathroom poem gets truer and truer with every year. 🤣
Aside from mornings, which is home schooling time, we’re enjoying ourselves.
These ones for me, this round :)
How's that book coming along? And (more importantly) how are you?
Well, the poems continue to write themselves. I haven’t made any progress on getting them into book form yet, though.
Oh - but you're writing the content. That's the hard part! (and beautiful content it is)
Hope you're well :)
I'm still not "home" to the village so have been on and off. It's not you, it's me. Sending love from Cape Town today <3
Such great lines always leaves thoughts. Instead of apologies, thanks should be giving, and there's a place more greener and yet no grass. This lines are deep and leaves us thinking. Nice one
I could only imagine where it's greener without grasses. This line is deep, could bald land be green? Maybe or maybe not, there's more to life than we know
