Cant believe how I use to emulate you,
When in fact deep down I really hate you,
You sold me dreams & yup I bought em,
When I had problems to you I brought em,
Came to realize you just don't get it,
But lessons learned & no I don't regret it,
Cause even though you used me & brought me pain,
Tried to confuse me for your selfish gain,
Planned on turning me on the ones I loved,
Brought me to the edge & pushed & fuckin shoved,
I held on to the ledge fought back regained,
Rekindled the relationships I once had strained,
Found the love I lost for myself to set things clear,
No longer will my life be ran by the man in the mirror!
