Memories ever new
A companion that reminds me of good old days
A joy that remains when my bones are fragile
A friend that recapture my joy and pain
Memories ever new
A brother that never goes away
Making me smile over good old times
And cry over losses and the people we miss
Memories ever new
The joy of every old, the only ally when their hair is gray
Telling them of good old days, of youthful age well spent
And reminds them of opportunities missed becoming a wisdom for the young
Memories ever new
That gives account of our days lived
And makes us appreciate the little things once shared
Our true companion when we are frail and gray
