It's a jungle I wish to step beyond
It's the chain that wraps me around
I wish to break
For I was born with the reality
I refuse to accept
A lie was also born,
an iron-clad tradition
Which makes me an outcast
without rationality
So I groaned
Wishing for freedom
In the wide blue skies
But then it all crumbles, all.
Barriers erected, masking the pain
Of future generations
But I refused this lie from hell
Lurking in dark shadows
They said it was the norm
But I disagree
I would never fit in
I've always wished for freedom
To break every limitation
So here I am, ready to fight
Refusing to live
by any's standards
Rising above the tides
Of whatever tethered me
To senseless traditions
I am @edith-4angelseu and thank you for stopping by my neighbourhood.
