Pokemon Blue, the first one, was the first game I played as a kid. I actually do think it's quite educational (and fun). There are puzzles in the game and quite a bit of strategy. There are also a bunch of glitches and hacks. I have a lot of nostalgia for Pokemon.
I have never played Pokemon Go but I hear it's a lot of fun, so I may try it someday.
