Mischief Makers

a furball.jpg

Fluffy the kitten, with eyes bright and green,
Loved to get into trouble, it was her favorite scene.
She'd knock over a vase, or chase after a ball,
And always land on her feet, without taking a fall.

Buddy the puppy, with a wagging tail so free,
Was Fluffy's partner in crime, a perfect duo to see.
Together they'd dig up the yard, or chew on a shoe,
And always manage to escape, with a "who, me?" or two.

One day they got into mischief, of the highest degree,
They pulled down the curtains, and made a big mess to see.
Their owners scolded them, with a laugh and a grin,
But Fluffy and Buddy just looked up, with eyes that twinkled within.

For they knew they were naughty, but they just couldn't resist,
The joy of getting into trouble, and causing a big mess to persist.
So if you see them coming, with a sly little grin,
Just know that mischief is brewing, and trouble is sure to spin!

Oh I know those sly little grins, seen them many at time.
My youngest daughter loved this poem xx

I'm glad she liked it. And I think any pet owner knows these sly little grins.
