Someone did something very hurtful to me recently, I knew getting upset with her would be of no use, I knew she might never understand how hurt she made me even if I tried to take it up with her, so when I said my prayers the following morning I told God I forgive her, and asked God to forgive her as well, I simply let it all go since I do not know how to change the situation and that brings me so much peace.
Forgiving people even when they don't deserve it is very important. Also, we must learn to forgive ourselves.
