Do you want to live forever?

We die a little every 24 hours,
if your tomorrow is the same like today,
or yesterday, or not.

If you do the same,
you cannot expect different results,
this is the definition of madness,
but then, we do live in a mad, mad world,
as our Old Gods foretold.

Are you sold, can you be bold,
feel the fire inside, do not get cold,
because we die a little,
whenever our days
are looking the same,
one after another.

Father or mother,
do not bother
with the future or past,
to teach this is a must,
whatever you do, again and again
please don't do it the same
way, change it a little,
here and there.

When you go to the same place
every day, use a different road,
cook a different meal,
learn a new skill, get a strange hobby
collect squirrels like Bobby,
do illegal scarab fights like Nobby,
nobody needs to know,
you reap what you sow,
but the future will not be set in stone,
as you become more and more
like water, mind over matter,

you know, talking about a genius mind,
somebody, being so kind,
told me this:
to hit a target and not miss,
you can fail a thousand times,
in a thousand different ways,
but never in the same way,
do as I say, not as I do,
learn from Scooby Doo,
you can do it too.

Learn how to shine,
in all the three worlds that I know
rigidity means Death, as they said,
blue or red, single or wed,
leave the web, and learn how to fly,

Your kingdom is in the sky.

This is a very interesting and powerful piece! You've successfully blended a philosophical exploration of routine with a touch of humor and a call to action. Stanza 5 stands out for me with all the things we can do to change up our lives. I particularly like 'collect squirrels like Bobby'. Having said that I also feel this could have used more of the editorial pen. For example play around with the structure some more. I hope you take these words as encouragement - keep writing.

Thank you for the kind words. I think that you perceive it a bit rough because English is not my first language, not even the second. So sometimes I think in a different language and write in English, and native speakers can see that. Or so I was told.
