BlockchainPoets Weekly Prompt - Behind The Storm

in Blockchain Poets2 years ago

Poets are great minds. People who think outside the box, see things for what they truly are and see beauty where others can't. It's a moment of appreciation to all poets out there and to all community members for actively contributing to the community's growth in one way or the other. We @ BCP appreciate every member of this community.

Last week, we got the chance to look at the mirror and made something out of it through the prompt by @inthenow, titled reflection. If you had missed out on that one, it's never too late to go back and check things out.

This week's prompt is: Behind The Storm

According to Oxford Dictionary, a storm is;

A violent disturbance of the atmosphere with strong winds and usually rain, thunder, lightning, or snow.

A tumultuous reaction; an uproar or controversy.

Living is never as smooth as the high ways. In life, we face a lot of disturbances. Most storm tries to consume us but through our strong nature, we overcome them.

Just as the ocean storm flushes out lots of fish from the ocean, most storms leave us better than they met us. Of course, this is no surprise as it has been quoted that "tough times breed tough men"

Behind the storm is simply looking back at the past and checking whether those tough times made us stronger, better, or they left us worst

When you look at yourself today, considering all you've faced, do you see a better person? Your answer though.

However, use this prompt to let us in to your feeling or thoughts.

Let your keyboard or quill, pen or pencil.. crayon.. or whatever you like to express yourself with, do the talking. Put down some killer lines of poetry, and share your awesome works with the community and the world.

Hoping to read amazing lines from you all. That will be all for the week. See you next week
