To Those We Lost.

Wake me up when it's over,
For I can't bear this heavy heart.
Tell me this is just a dream,
An illusion of life's fabric torn at the seam.

Wake me up when it's over,
When I can grasp the finality.
That the moments we shared, is now a clover,
Faded in the dark and lost in the vast mortality.

I still feel your warmth,
But this aches in my soul.
I still hear your laughter,
A relentless haunting host.

Still in disbelief, I remain,
Like I'm trapped in a cycle of our memories.
I yearn and strain,
To break free from this unbelievable pain.

Yet reality lingers, cold and stark,
Can't believe it's true, oh how it's bitter.
These pains, your memories will always trigger,
And to all lost souls young and tender.
