I moved to the Philippines just to play. Photo: Pixabay - Artist: tom_pix54 Howdy y’all. It’s me, ninong7 aka UJ aka John. Just a short intro about myself. I am a Texan that has retired in the Philippines. I moved to the Philippines with my wife back in May 2010. I am retired from the US Air Force. The music I like is mostly Classic Country and Classic Rock. I guess you could say that I am “Classic”. I play dominoes when I can find someone that will play, I play chess, cribbage, spades, hearts, Empire Builder, Rail Baron, Acquire and a few other games. I like to write poems and stories (although pretty novice) and I love learning about history, just about any history. I’m at home on my computer a lot but if I could afford to, I’d be traveling and documenting my travels to post in my blog. I hope to get to know a lot of you through PeakD and Discord.
I liked it so much, I decided to stay.
Most women here are still traditional.
They tend to love you unconditional.

They are devoted wives and are as sweet as honey.
Though you will have to have a lot of money.
Give and take, we have what each other want.
They do what they must so their family's not gaunt.

Once you are married, to wedding vows agree.
You married her and her whole family.
This is expected, you're told in advance.
You will be helping with some type of finance.

This Philippines country has no divorce.
So, you better be sure you're on the right course.
I've been married now for over four decades.
The woman I married I would never trade.

You have to be careful and find the right one.
Look around a lot and have plenty of fun.
If you want your life to be absent of strife.
Come to the Philippines to find your wife.

How I wish I have the opportunity to be there. This is very interesting and eye opening. Where can I find one Sir?
I don't know if Filipino women like the parts where you talk about financial support but I guess it's idiosyncratic there.

So you want me to put my Hive blog link on my personal Facebook page?
Or you can add the word "hive" somewhere on your page:
https://texaninthephilippines.com/about-contact/
That's what I did, in the comments
Hi.
Thanks for the response. Would you be able to add it to your WordPress site here?
https://texaninthephilippines.com/about-contact/
The comment can be created by anyone.
Thnaks
How could I do that? I would if I could.
If it is your website, you must have access to your WordPress site and be able to post on it.
You can edit it anywhere.
Yeah, anyone can create that comment but not with my name.
When I do a post, I can also post it on here. In fact I think I have done that a couple of times in the past.
Yes, please.
Then give me a link to it so I can see it.
Thanks
