With a compass old and stars so bright,
I set my course in the fading light.
The world ahead, vast and wide,
With only the heavens as my guide.
No maps to trace, no charts to read,
Just the night sky's glow and the ocean's creed.
The North Star glimmers, steady and true,
A beacon in the endless blue.
Orion rises, his belt a line,
Pointing me toward the southern sign.
Each constellation, a friend, a guide,
As I sail across the world’s great tide.
The compass spins, its needle true,
A trusted friend in the ocean’s hue.
It points the way when clouds obscure,
And guides me through the night's allure.
The winds may shift, the seas may rise,
But I trust the stars in the open skies.
For in their light, I find my way,
Through stormy nights and golden day.
From pole to pole, across the seas,
Through tropic warmth and Arctic freeze,
The stars remain, my constant guide,
As I sail the world’s wide tide.
I pass by lands of ancient lore,
And islands kissed by waves that roar.
But through it all, I keep my sight,
On the stars above, in the quiet night.
The compass hums, a steady beat,
As my journey nears its final feat.
I’ve sailed the world, with stars and steel,
And found a truth that time reveals.
For in the sky and in the heart,
Lies the map to where we start.
And as I dock, my journey done,
I thank the stars, each and every one.
For they have led me ‘round the world,
Through seas unknown, where sails unfurled.
With compass in hand and stars above,
I’ve sailed the world, and found its love.

🐬🐬🐬Donate to the Dolphin Project 🐬🐬🐬https://www.dolphinproject.com/donate/
Dolphin Project is a non-profit charitable organization, dedicated to the welfare and protection of dolphins worldwide. Founded by Richard (Ric) O’Barry on Earth Day, April 22, 1970, the organization aims to educate the public about captivity and, where feasible, retire and/or release captive dolphins.
The mission of Dolphin Project is to end dolphin exploitation and slaughter, as dolphins are routinely captured, harassed, slaughtered and sold into captivity around the world – all in the name of profit. Dolphin Project works not only to halt these slaughters, but also to rehabilitate captive dolphins for retirement and/or release, investigate and advocate for economic alternatives to dolphin slaughter, and to put a permanent end to dolphin captivity.
Port Sundries is not affiliated with Dolphin Project but supports their goal 100%.
