Desideratum:迫切需要之物;所愿望之物
Oh, I love this word from Latin, which means 'something desired as a necessity'

I had never heard of this word so thank you for introducing it to me :)

In physics, a wormhole is a tunnel in space that is believed to connect different parts of the universe. 宇宙隧道

the story of an astronaut who is sucked through a wormhole into the other side of the universe.
And I also learned a new astronomical term--worm hole from @raj808's Sci-fi blog. God, have you heard of wormhole before

As to my little contribution, Im just happy to help you learn a new word. Did you know I am just starting to learn Portuguese in preparation for a possible move there in the next 6 months - a year. It's a hard language to learn as it's a mish-mash of Italian, Spanish and Moorish influences :)

P.s.

2.Who cut the cheese? 💨
Meaning: Who farted?

This one made me laugh 😂

Oh. I am really glad that I can unexpectedly introduce you the word 'desideratum'! And it is great for me to know that you start to learn Portuguese and prepare to move to Portugal in the near future. I am looking forward to reading your new series of blogs about Portugal. I guess it must be a wonderful and historical country full of sunshine although I am extremely ignorant about it(It is said that Spain is known for its sunshine).

As far as I know, Latin is the common root of French, Italian and Spanish. I just learned the only Italian word 'adagio' from your Haiku. I feel Moorish influence should be a kind of language from North Africa(maybe similar to Arabic), ok?

Yeah, Teacher Mike always tries to teach the real English in daily life, even including the expressions with the 'F*ck' word. I love his teaching style.
