El grito II (Poema) The Cry II (Poem)

El grito II

Puede remontar la mirada,
sacudir la soledad de la duda,
volver con el deseo de correr
o enterrar sueños
en los brazos del delirio.

Se detiene en la garganta,
baja hasta el pecho,
donde el dolor, mora,
no hay salidas.

Voy al espejo,
le hago preguntas,
me devuelve a la soledad,
a la tensión del reloj,
deja un tic tac aletargado.

¿Cómo pasar por ese puente
entre la angustia y el vacío,
entre lo celestial y lo terrenal?

Quiero soltar este peso.
Me arrastra por diferentes terrenos.
Todo se hunde,
otros miedos miran,
aparecen rostros conocidos,
se inmiscuyen en la nebulosa
donde voy cayendo.
Sus risas son cortantes.

Siento que viene el desgarro,
las cuerdas vocales vibran,
la voz escapa con furia contenida,
arrasa el silencio.

Sé que el asombro,
enmudece a los vecinos,
ahora el silencio es una brisa fresca.
Un eco se desvanece.
Alguien toma mi mano,
guía mis pasos.
Un calor familiar
me vuelve a la realidad,
a la reflexión momentánea.

The Cry II

It can lift your gaze,
shake the solitude of doubt,
return with the desire to run
or bury dreams
in the arms of delirium.

It stops in the throat,
descends to the chest,
where the pain resides,
There are no exits.

I go to the mirror,
I ask it questions,
it brings me back to solitude,
to the tension of the clock,
leaves a lethargic ticking.

How to cross this bridge
between fear and emptiness,
between the heavenly and the earthly?

I want to let go of this weight.
It drags me through various terrains.
Everything sinks,
Other fears are watching,
Familiar faces appear,
intruding into the haze
into which I'm falling.
Their laughter is cutting.

I feel the tears coming,
The vocal chords vibrate,
the voice escapes with suppressed rage,
the silence sweeps away.

I know that the astonishment
has muted the neighbors,
Now the silence is a cool breeze.
An echo dies away.
Someone takes my hand,
guiding my steps.
A familiar warmth
brings me back to reality,
to a moment of reflection.

Although I'm trying to understand the message behind the words, I love the images you paint with your words. Well done, it's such a beautiful poem you've written here.

I know that interpreting the images through a translation leads to certain problems of understanding but in poetry it is worth adapting it to the familiar, geographical and emotional environment, and that this cry that I have given also serves as a catharsis, very grateful for your comment, greetings from Venezuela.
