LIFE GOES ON!!! (an original poetry)

I originally wrote this poem for my friend who is experiencing not so good things in life, but I also want to share it to people. I know life is hard that we want to give up on it at times. I have been through tough times and still am experiencing these rocky situations, but I can't deny the fact that life is also beautiful.

Life Goes On

Life is likened to a journey
It's full of ups and downs
Of dizzying twists and turns
At times, it's a long winding road
Yet, we yearn to reach our destination
We strive so hard to get there
But didn't you know?
Being on such a you a journey isn't only about
GETTING THERE
Rather... its How you're able to get there
If only you looked at the scenery...
You'd realize the journey isn't as boring as you think
You'd realize that THE BEAUTIFUL THINGS in life, BUILDS up the EXCITEMENT of seeing something BETTER
That the DARK TIMES were just the UNIVERSE's way of PUSHING YOU FORWARD
And that by LOOKING BACK.... you'd be reminded of the reason WHY you're even in this NEVERENDING TREK
Being scared and uncertain is NORMAL
Heck! Even the SUNSETS can be scary at times...
When the world seems to get DARKER and DARKER
But didn't you know?!
There is BEAUTY in DARKNESS!!!
It's not just the moon nor the stars...
It's the CALMNESS... the SERENITY you feel deep within
As you close your eyes and start seeing the things
BEYOND...
And when wake you up.... BE THANKFUL.. Appreciate!
You Got Another TICKET to experience LIFE
There might be times when you want to refuse it and let everything END... but...
REMEMBER THE JOURNEY... the happy times you've experienced
REMEMBER THE BAD TIMES... that you're able to overcome
It's okay to enjoy a REST STOP for a bit....
But be reminded that...
LIFE -- no matter what road you're on -- GOES ON!!
