MY BURDEN

Life—so full of mystery.
People cry for help,
Yet I am the one feeling the pain.
People are troubled by their own problems,
Yet I am troubled by the burdens of others.

I try to remain calm,
But something stirs within me.
My heart is heavy with thoughts,
Yet my body longs for peace.
I feel sorrow for those
Who are happy within.
People call me a bearer of pain,
But I say, "This is my burden to bear."

Behind me lie tears and harmony,
And I must choose one.
The body seeks harmony,
Yet the mind leans toward sorrow.
Hearing cries for help
Fills my heart with sadness,
While witnessing tears
Brings sorrow to my soul.
I stand in uncertainty,
Watching in awe,
Unsure of what to do,
Except to walk alongside them.

So, the heart must shift its mindset,
And the body must follow.
For both harmony and sorrow
Can change their meaning with time.
Now, it is time to face reality,
To adapt, to grow,
And embrace the new.
