2024: Love and pain
I say goodbye to a year that hurt my soul,
Twelve months that tested me,
That they took from me, they gave me, they taught me
That life is a passage of loves and pains.
A period of time in which I cried, lived, loved,
A year in which I learned to count on ailments,
That life gave me pain, also hope,
And that I learned to value what I have and what I am worth.
Thank you, year that you leave, for my cries and discomfort,
For teaching me to love in pain and misfortune,
For making me experience extreme suffering,
And for educating my soul in human understanding.
Thank you year for taking away and giving me so much,
For making me unhappy and at the same time very happy,
For allowing me to continue living, loving, laughing
despite pains of soul and life.

Le digo adiós a un año que me dolió en el alma,
Doce meses que me pusieron a prueba,
Que me quitaron, me dieron, me enseñaron
Que la vida es un pasaje de amores y dolores.
Un espacio de tiempo en el lloré, viví, amé,
Un año en el que aprendí a contar con dolencias,
Que la vida me dio dolores, también esperanzas,
Y que aprendía valorar lo que tengo y lo que valgo.
Gracias año que te vas, por mis llantos y malestares,
Por enseñarme a amar en el dolor y la desgracia,
Por hacerme vivir el sufrimiento extremo,

Gracias año por quitar y darme tanto,
Por hacerme infeliz y a la vez muy feliz,
Por permitirme seguir viviendo, amando, riendo
a pesar de dolores del alma y de la vida.
