I AM

[trucklife-family]

I long to break away,
to leave these patterns.

crippled upon the broken shards of my soul,
the light burns away and I lay
imprisoned within my mind,
by the words that were etched by my own hand.

Fallen into this darkness, that eats away at my reserve.

where to begin, as I try to assemble the last of my self worth.

Those voices on repeat,
that dig away at my truth,
creating huge caverns, that attempt to swallow my world.

the internal struggle as I take command,
to steer a million pieces,
scattered within.

One single thought,
to shatter the veil,
one beam of light,
to empower
to open up
to break down,
their world
their thoughts
that dominate
and manipulate.

One word,

to create
to step within
to reach the truth of who I AM.

I AM
the endless source of power
the flow of abundance
the empowered

I AM
the pain that transformed itself into love,
the tears that feed the earth,
the womb that brought forth life,

I AM
the blood of my ancestors,
the fruit of the earth,

I AM.

I love this part of your poem, we all have internal struggle to battle day after day, but I am the one who can break all those barriers that we have in our minds, I really like this writing in particular, and in another order of ideas I love the image I'm a fan of your images ♥ Hugs and happy day.
