I apologize for my absence, my dear friends,
For disappearing like socks in the dryer, it seems.
I've been tangled up in a ghostwriting spree,
A job for an Alaskan Company, can't you see?
Awhile back, I landed a ghostwriting gig, a curious affair,
But instead of battling grizzlies, I've been battling writer's despair.
No moose or glaciers to keep me company,
Just the hum of my keyboard and a lukewarm cup of tea.
I've been conjuring stories, spinning tales of whimsy,
From fantastical creatures to loopy conspiracy theories.
My days are spent wrestling with words and plot twists,
And my nights are filled with rewrites and occasional fits.
So forgive my mysterious absence, my witty companions,
As I return with my shenanigans in grand fashion.
I'm grateful for your patience, your continued support,
Let's embark on this poetic journey, where humor is our fort.
This profession that we love builds us as hermits and between stories and words takes us away, leaving us to solitude as a companion and silence as inspiration.

It's funny because grammar has never been my strong suit, but I have a ton of love for poetry! That very same obsession somehow led me to ghostwriting. Who would've thought, right? Life's full of surprises!
Finding inspiration sometimes could leave us in silence as we hope to get inspired by the smallest details in our environment or through experiences.
But then somehow we return and we are excited. Poetry is just beautiful!!!
I used to hate writing, but then I discovered that poetry is like a magical therapy session for the soul.

Very nice poem, many times we find it hard to find inspiration but there is always something to write at any time, some write about their day and others just to let off steam, writing is great and enjoying those poems is even more so, thanks for sharing this writing ☺
