Pages and pages of despair
His name, the only word
Scrawled over and over
In the red of her blood

A wilted rose, petals in ashes
It's scent, a corrupted memory
Thorns dripped or crimson
As she smiled at his treachery

The door creaked
Her knife gleamed
With a fractured soul
She heard him Scream

Writing poems sometimes means channeling someone else's pains and thoughts through your words. This is what I've tried here.

Love is such a powerful emotion that if not handled properly it can turn into a dark obsession. Heartbreaks are a cost we pay to love and be loved but some lack the strength to heal themselves.

Love failures are hardly uncommon and most of us manage to get over them without any drastic measures. But for some, it is such a deep wound that revenge becomes the only option they can envision.

I have tried exploring the tragic side of love—when pain overshadows reason, and heartbreak morphs into something destructive. It serves as a reminder of how emotions, if left unchecked, can consume a person entirely.

Ah!! Channeling the Arjun Reddy. (Not going to call it Kabir Singh ever)
Also not to go into the topic. Love is the poison that needs to be used to create the anti-venom for the poison called life. 😆

Wow what a great analogy ! It's kind of true
