The project name is derived from the word coincidence, with the idea that because it was incepted because of a coincidental match between my fiction and my technical skillset, and the occurrence of the STEEM blockchain heist by the Tron folks.
The idea was to have coincidence pronounced not as starting with co-in, but as coin. I thought coinZdence would make that pronunciation obvious. Then, when looking for a domain, I thought a tiny spelling change to the name would be interesting as I was able to buy a .se but not a .ce domain, so it became coinZdense instead of coinZdence.
At that point I had the choices:
coinzden.cecoin.zden.cecoin.z.den.cecoin-z-den.ce- coinzden.se
- coin.zden.se
coin.z.den.se- coin-z-den.se
Then, taking into account I always wanted a similar e-mail address, the following pairs remained:
- coin.zden.se / [email protected]
- coin.z-den.se / [email protected]
Ended up picking the last one as I thought it would naturally be closest phonetically to the desired pronunciation of coinZdense.
But you are right, I should probably get a secondary domain name too thats just coinzdense under a common TLD like io,org, net or com.
