Chardonnay Zibibbo 2018 [ENG][ITA]

Hello everyone! Today we taste a Zibibbo. It is a very well known Sicilian grape variety because it is used to produce a fortified dessert wine that takes its name. On the other hand, I really like the dry vinified Zibibbo because in my opinion it turns out a very interesting aromatic wine, even if not very well known. In fact, in Italy when it comes to aromatic wines the first that comes to mind is almost always the Gewürztraminer.

This bottle is not pure dry Zibibbo but it is a blend with a Chardonnay. I must say that I enjoyed the combination :)

Ciao a tutti! Oggi si assaggia uno Zibibbo. Si tratta di un vitigno siciliano molto conosciuto perché viene utilizzato per produrre un vino liquoroso da dessert che prende il suo stesso nome. A me invece piace molto lo Zibibbo vinificato secco perché a mio avviso viene fuori un vino aromatico molto interessante, anche se non molto conosciuto. In Italia infatti quando si parla di vini aromatici il primo che viene in mente è quasi sempre il Gewürztraminer.

Questa bottiglia non è Zibibbo secco in purezza ma è un blend insieme ad uno Chardonnay. Devo dire che ho apprezzato l'accoppiata :)
