Hello Hive! It is hard to get stuck, and drink the same varietal over, and over. All though you can drink the same type of wine, but different regions, or even vineyards, and you can have a different experience each time. Go to your local super market, and look at the wine isle, and you are most likely to see 4-6 varietals of wine. I would not be surprised if people think there are only Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Those wines have earned their top spot rightfully so. But did you know there is over 10,000 varietals of wine grapes in the world? Crazy right! So be careful before you decide to get obsessed with this alcohol beverage, you just may add some excitement to your life;)

The wine region of Alsace in France has been on my radar for some time now. But Pinot Blanc? Nope. Never even heard of it till I was browsing Wine.com for some Alsace White Wine. The price was right, so I figured why not. Very glad I did too! If you are a Chardonnay lover this would be a great wine for you to try. This one even reminded me of a Chablis. Stone fruit, wet rocks, and green apple aromas, and even some Goat Cheese on the nose. Hard to believe this is a 12$ wine. Even after only drinking half the bottle, and it tasting great the next day tells me that this wine has the ability to age. I have to really pay my respect to the French, they really know what they're doing, CHEERS!
