Hy hivefam, so today am sharing one of my sewing projects with you, " matted jacket and pants"( made this piece with love in my heart for me) lolzzzzzzz, these pieces was made out of bias stripes
Fashion is a story, and only the designer knows this story and can only bring this story to live by her designs through the interpretation. well these out fitting was matted from different piece of bias, cut into pieces and assembled together to give this lovely design ( hope you think it's lovely too?) ( Fingers crossed), sort of bring a picture of broken pieces or broken Life getting fixed back to something beautiful, so it's cool to say that designer are fixers , and also it takes a process to get things fixed, I think the interpretation of this outfit says alot, and also alot about myself, am that broken person who got fixed, ( definitely nothing can't be fixed if you put your heart to it)
Hand craft is another aspect of fashion I love so much ( I think I will be doing more of it this year, just 🤔), it is the ability to creat something from barley nothing. The process might be tedious, but you can see it's worth after seeing the out come,( so does it apply in human life, just trust the process) it actually took me two days to finish this sewing projects, I first used the bias tape to form a mat on an already drafted bodies pattern, and viollaaa!!!!!! This is the outcome, will keep updating on my fashion project and journey, hopefully you catch fun and enjoy it as much as I do.here is a picture of the process
