So I've been a Macbook user for the past 10 years and owned two different MacBook Pros. I hated that I couldn't game well on them so I built an okay gaming desktop PC, which I can only use during my university semesters since I travel back home (I'm back home since March for quarantining also, these situations become really tough without my gaming PC).
I'm thinking about Razer Blade 15 Advanced or a Macbook Pro 16, the Razer seems like the closest Windows computer to the Macbook, which will be an easier transition for me, and owning a gaming laptop right now seems very attractive to me, however (logically thinking), I already have a gaming dekstop at my apartment, therefore I won't really use the Razer to play games while I'm not traveling.
If it will be the Macbook Pro 16, should I wait for the new ARM Macbook, or buy an Intel one. The ARM Macbooks sound really good, however, since I'll have to buy it immediately once it's released, I'm afraid that it might be buggy or have some errors as a new product.
What do you think?

Moin,
i am not a gamer, but i had looked around for a new laptop because of its performance.
If you look at the benchmarks, you have to realize that not only the price/performance ratio is better with AMD than with Intel, AMD also leads the benchmark lists. (https://www.cpubenchmark.net/laptop.html)
I therefore do not understand how you can decide to go with Intel. My suggestion is to look for a laptop with for example AMD Ryzen 7 4800H at Acer, Asus or Lenovo. Probably they are not even half as expensive as Apple.
Have fun comparing
