Thank You !

A special Thank you to @jarvie for noticing the amount of views on @Radio-Quebec's publication and writing a great publication on that hype :

Just to be transparent, I'm the one managing the @Radio-Quebec social media account on Hive. I does it for @StuDio666 too.

I got their consent and the accumulated profits will go to them. Which isn't much as @Radio-Quebec account that now worth 6.69 $US and @StuDio666 currently worth 52.82 $US as I manage it since a longer time and put more effort into it early to follow and be followed. My donations to them far exceed these profits and I consider the value of their account to be their property.

I indeed grown my Facebook and started recently to grown my Twitter following so that this promoted content could reatch more people which may have helped to this accomplishment. As I put many efforts in sharing on many social networks I like to think I helped at least a little, but it's mainly, as you mention, the desirability of the content that is appreciated by hundred of thousand of people and maybe a little bit of luck that accomplished the number of views obtained that to be fair, isn,t that high compared to their stats on other social medias.

I appreciated and I'm sur Alexis, the "Influencer" creating @Radio-Quebec content, is also appreciating that @peakd tipped 29.7 Hive, as the nice upvotes of @sanjeevm, @peakd, @steempeak, @markkujantunen and your vote are greatly appreciated.

What happened ?

It's nice to see that some "Influencer" posts can attact a lot of trafic to PeakD and Hive BlockChain.

The post : We The People vs l'État profond

got more than 3250 views on PeakD and recieved the PeakD Daily Top award

Why continuing posting on Hive ?

I started to help these 2 independant Quebec alternative medias because I wanted to help them with concrete actions. Initially for @StuDio666 as rewards were more interesting 2 years ago.

These posts also provided them some visibility with the small french community on Hive (was bigger on Steem 2 years ago). But it also provided Hive some visibility to a small part of the fans and followers of these "Influencers" that are good candidate to join Hive as they are aware of the censorship of the main social medias as both @Radio-Quebec and @StuDio666 got banned from YouTube. When banned @Radio-Quebec had around 125 000 to 150 000 subscribers with at least one video reatching more than 1 million views and some live videos watch by more than 20 000 people live. @StuDio666 had around 50 000 subscriber with many videos with more than 100 000 views and some live show with almost 5000 live viewers.

Note : The number I provide are what I remind and may not be exact, but it was something of that order of magnitude.

This is why in every post of the 2 "Influencers", I put a signature with their other social medias, ways to donate to them but also explication on what is Hive, how to join it and a link to the french community.

Here's the signature :

Hive providing a censorship resistant environment, it's also a way to backup the existence of their contient since having the title of the video make it possible to retrieve it when it's deleted from YouTube and now they both moved to :

Odysee

Hint : @peakD, it would be nice to support Odysee video thumbnails ;)

Many of their fans subscribed to Odysee :

  • 53 473 so far for Radio Québec
  • The Stu-Dio got only 3837 subscriber and climbing quickly, but they just got banned after many month of heavy censorship on YouTube and they have their own video streaming platform including their paying subsciptions, so less people will switch to Odysee.

With the recent banning, I feel that their content will benefits from more publications refencing them shared on as many locations possible. So I will continue to help them.

To me, it's a win win situation.

What's in for me ?

It also provided me some learning and experience managing their accounts, promoting them on Twitter, VK, Minds, Facebook groups, ... and some accomplishment sentiment when few people here and there view, like, comment and share the content I managed for them. A PeakD Daily Top award is also a nice accomplishment 😉.

But I mainly continue to do it because I want to support them. This is why I also created a discord communitie to manage the french speaking benevols wanting to help them with concrete actions.

What's next

I will continue to share their content with the little time I have, trying to optimize the reatch of their publications. As a developper, I could work on ways to automate publications, but my instinct tells me that for now manual posting is more efficient as every platform has their own little requirements, different popular tags and content metadata requirements for an optimized reatch to occurs. Also their API keeps changing so developing such tools requires time to adapt it over time and may even require some expenses to pay for calling APIs.

Although, I may stop one day and focus on my own content creation probably related to cryptocurrencies in the french community, as not passing enough time on stimulating the fanbase isn't optimal for the effort invested to reatch more people on a more regular basis as engagement and perseverance are key factors in success for content creation.

So event if my sharing does help them, it's a small drop in the ocean of their influence that may have a bigger effect right now with their newly bans.

Encourage some of these viewers to sign on, stake hive, and upvote these posts, as a form of consistent donation spread out over time. As I stated in the comment linked above, it's a good deal and they can have their money back if they decide this platform isn't for them. They also share in the profits when voting. No better deal on the internet right now.

That's why I put the signature with links to publications about what is Hive, why it's interesting and how to join.

But I mainly continue to do it because I want to support them.

Appreciate your attitude 👍 It would be nice to put the English version as well, you can probably use some translator. I would be happy to support with 1 vote a day, if it helps anyway.

I will leave the subtitles to the content creators, in the volonters, we have some translator, but more to translate english content to french so it can be used in the videos.

English audience isn't a priority for them at the moment, but @StuDio666 have some english videos with some guesses.

On my side I publish once a week a summary of the best videos I listened to one post for french videos and 1 for the english ones.

Maybe you can follow that.

But I feel audio translation of all their videos is a task far too big for me alone.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT POST!!

Seriously more people should read about this. Can peakd pay for a round of promotions on it?

Anyway understand what you're doing should be read by every prospective blogger who wants long term success. When you can control the number of views you can bring to content you are in control of your own future and you have multiple options for potential revenue (or impact if that's what you want more)

It's not just a daily reward that post will get... it will likely win the weekly reward... and we don't do monthly because of a present technical challenge but i bet it would have won that as well.

You got 3k views in a day. On many blogs out there they get anywhere from $3-20 per 1000 views (of course that's because they put way too many ads on one page) but let's say a really really low estimate of $5 that's a $15 post right there easily on most blogs. Some blog websites it's $60+

And it's important to remember this was without having a consistent large following just happen to be pushing it as you explained.

PLEASE WRITE MORE

Write more about your adventures in effectively promoting posts for established content creators.
Also no joke i was starting to notice @StuDio666 in the views as well. Saw some videos got taken down perhaps?

Anyway i'll be following and hearing what you think because PeakD will be doing a market project next year along these lines and working with some HUGE content creators. Stay in touch and find me on discord perhaps?

Thanks @jarvie

I wouldn't say I control the view, but that my persistent effort in building my following helped that viral situation to occur.

Also that viral situation woulnd't have existed without the "Influencer" creating appealing content and already having their fanbase.

My guess is that the banning situation makes the videos hard to find as not everyone follow @Radio-Quebec and @StuDio666 on Odysee and me sharing as a "second wave" a publication linking to their content help those user finding the video they lost sight of since they don't recieved their Youtube or Facebook notifications anymore.

I will try to do some publication about tips and tricks of the little things I learned.
