PEAK VAULT on PEAKD
As many know PEAK VAULT WALLET has been integrated into PeakD.com for a couple weeks and after much testing it seems to be working flawlessly. Working together with @peak.open we are set to promote and reward the usage of the wallet on PeakD.com.
WHAT IS PEAK VAULT
Peak Vault is a product created by @peak.open with the primary developer being @muwave with assistance by several others on the @peak.open team such as @asgarth @jarvie and @yozen
It is a browser extension wallet similar to Hive Keychain. These are the only two usable wallets on Hive that can let you sign transactions on hive web apps. (Aka Hive is now a little more decentralized)
THE PROMOTION
We are planning to use VOTES and TIPS to reward posts made with Peak Vault.
SideNote: We still plan on giving large votes and tips for reviews of Peak Vault on PeakD
HOW TO QUALIFY?
Each time you use Peak Vault Wallet to create a POST on PeakD.com they are marked and the PeakD.com team will go through those posts. Remember to include the post footer image to help us spread the news 😉
Our group of accounts ranging from team user accounts @jarvie @asgarth to project accounts like the @peakd @peak.open and @peakmonsters accounts will be able to use the new peakd.com "vote with..." feature to make block votes.
Note: We will still judge based on the quality of the posts.

While firefox has the extension in their store chrome you'll need to do manually by downloading from this website - https://vault.peakd.com/peakvault/releases.html

I've reported an error before via Snaps and it's still going on. Posting in communities that require beneficiaries or adding beneficiaries to your post gives a strange error and doesn't publish.

Do you have the same issue with Keychain?
No, this problem only works with Vault in Chrome.
The concern I have is that it may conflict with Keychain. I have run into many such conflicts in my decades of experience with computers.

i still have both. There are certain hive apps i use that use Keychain. (PeakMonsters.com and Splinterlands)
They don't conflict.

Should not be a problem. It's a complete separate extension and websites should intentionally support it to make it work.
I can't cope with beating computers into submission anymore, and need to wait until you say 'will' instead of 'should'. It used to be fun to wrangle conflicting IRQ's into playing nice together, but I have to spend all that time getting up in the middle of the night to pee nowadays.

Interesting, but this is a bit scary. What would the risks be?
You should never trust a wallet keychain or otherwise as a primary storage of your keys. You should have them backed up somewhere safe ... also because no wallet software will store your owner key or master password.
Also for bugs/errors no one has reported any to the developer @muwave as of yet but it's an acknowledgement that there could be.
Perhaps we could suggest to the @peak.open team to have different wording?
