Junior High School Research Experience
During my junior high school days, I was part of the STEMEP curriculum. Being part of the STEMEP curriculum is both challenging and fun. It was challenging because we have two extra subjects, and one of those two extra subjects is RESEARCH.
I was lucky to be grouped with my close friends. Our research is entitled “Antimicrobial Activity of Abelmoschus Esculentus (Okra) Leaf Ethanolic Extract Against Salmonella Enteritidis”. Our study was difficult because it aimed to make a natural antibacterial alternative for treating foodborne and other gastrointestinal diseases. We had to pay 500 each for the materials that are needed in our study. But sadly, we did not finish our study because of the heat index.

It was stressful yet fun.
Senior High School Research Experience (present)
This experience is different with my JHS experience. We only limited time to do our research and once again we did not finish our study because of the limited time.
RESEARCH PROPOSAL

We were so nervous and overthinking because one of our group mates was sick and cannot attend our research proposal.

If only you guys can feel the nervousness that we felt during the proposal. After presenting our research, our research teacher asked us one question each and thankfully I was able to answer the question that was given to me.
