I have only recently started learning about grounding. I used to think that any grounding was sufficient. I have come to learn that all grounding in a building or system has to be bonded to form one whole. This eliminates any difference in potential from one circuit to another. What has prompted me to learn about grounding is that I recently got my amateur radio operator license. Radios tend to require proper grounding, which makes the operator ensure that the entire circuit is working properly.
Earlier this year, we had a food truck with faulty wiring that was using the ground as a neutral wire. Eventually, it burned out the receptacle, which is what alerted us that the wiring was wrong.
That's good.Sometime wrong wiring causes a lot of damage to a system.Especially doing house wiring proper wiring must be done to avoid burning of the house.
