I had the pleasure of experiencing Nhà Bên Rừng - U Lesa in Sóc Sơn, and it turned out to be a truly memorable getaway.
Located just 45 km from Hanoi city, this place felt like a house in the heart of nature, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The resort is more than just a place to stay; it is a complex that combines a resort, restaurant, and café. With 13 distinct spaces to choose from, including the Hobbit House, Snail house, Big Pine House, Osaka House, and Dragon Nest, each area offered a unique and refreshing experience. I visited twice: the first time, I enjoyed a coffee in the pine forest, and on my second visit, I dined at the resort’s restaurant. Each visit was a new adventure, and I was eager to explore more of what this place had to offer.
Many people liken Nhà Bên Rừng - U Lesa to "Da Lat" in Hanoi, and it's easy to see why.The setting is picturesque, a blend of Asian and European design elements, creating an atmosphere that is both charming and special.
The resort is nestled among lush pine trees and a charming valley, offering a peaceful getaway in the midst of nature.
And especially you can freely choose any bedroom for only about 60 dollars for 1 night. The spaces ranged from 12m² to 60m², accommodating both small groups and larger parties. The rental prices ranged from 1,119,000 VND to 1,799,000 VND, ( 55-70 usd) depending on the time of booking and additional services. In addition to accommodation, Nhà Bên Rừng offered several appealing amenities.
During the day, guests could relax and enjoy light snacks before wandering around the resort to capture stunning photos.
If swimming was on your agenda, it was essential to book a slot at the front desk for the pool, as usage was limited to an hour. In the evening, arranging a BBQ dinner was a delightful option, with two spacious BBQ areas available for a comfortable and refreshing dining experience.
The following morning, a complimentary breakfast at Kafa Coffee was a perfect way to start the day.The service throughout was attentive and thoughtful, making the entire stay feel exceptional.
I ordered a chicken rice dish and a pork rib noodle soup for lunch at Ulesa, which cost $6.50. The chicken rice with vibrant yellow rice served with tender, juicy grilled chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a crispy, golden-brown skin The rice, colored by turmeric, was topped with crispy fried shallots. The meal was completed with a side of fresh cucumber and carrot slices, it was a nutritious meal.
The pork rib noodle soup included fresh, translucent rice noodles in a savory broth that combined the sweet and tangy flavors of pork bone, pineapple, and tomatoes.Topped with scallions, the soup was a comforting and flavorful experience.

The place looks nice but at the same time looks as if it is deep in the forest. I fear the fact that they may have regular visits of wild animals but oh yeah, it is a resort.
Saw you ordered Chicken rice dish and pork noodle soup for $6.5. That is looking cheap and well affordable. This is something I will love to give a try.
Thank you for your comment!
$ 6.5 is quite expensive compared to the average income here, but given that it's in the forest, the price seems reasonable.😹
I hope you get a chance to try them and enjoy your visit 👏🏻👏🏻
