The corner of the flowers / La esquina de las flores (eng-esp)

in Worldmappin12 days ago

While walking through the city of Las Tunas, I came across this beautiful corner and wanted to share it with you, as best I could.Hello, friends of @worldmappin.

As it happens, I was recently watching a documentary or a report (I'm not entirely sure if it was RT) about the Flores market in Colombia, and suddenly I stumbled across this corner.

I really can't describe how I saw this corner, because reality surpasses anything I could put into writing in this post.
I could tell you that I could smell the flowers long before I saw them. This corner has a delicious floral scent that I'd never been able to experience before. I'd heard of this scent in poems and novels, but I'd never experienced it myself.

Mentioning the Russia Today report is only due to the coincidence of coming across a flower market today, as this one is nothing compared to what I saw being sold there in Colombia. Here I only saw sunflowers, red roses, and gladioli.

But with just that, a little imagination, and these little white flowers (whose names I don't know), the vendors made bouquets of different sizes and of great beauty.
The bouquets were a little pricey, yes, but they were a treat.

The sunflowers were the ones that surprised and pleased me the most, due to their size and beautiful yellow color.

There were many bouquets of flowers, of different prices and sizes. But the best part is that they could make them right there, to your liking and budget.
The sellers customized them for the price indicated.

!

Yes, it may not be the most glamorous corner in the world, but this morning that smell took me back to a corner of my childhood that made me very happy.
Today, stumbling upon this flower market made me the happiest man in the world for a while.

Aquí solo vi girasoles, rosas rojas y gladiolos

The way you described the flower market truly brings it to life! Sunflowers, red roses, and gladioli may be simple, but they carry such beauty, especially when arranged with care. It’s amazing how certain scents can take us back to childhood memories—those little unexpected moments of happiness are priceless.

Thank you for these kind words. I just tried to explain, as best I could, the pleasant impression I had upon finding this fragrant and colorful corner.

The flowers are so beautiful, ❤️🙏

Hermoso recorrido Poeta.

Those are very very beautiful flowers 🌺🌹💐🏵️ and colorful (I love it 😍)🌻. We have also places like you're sharing with us, but they're kind far away from my house. 🙈

Thanks for sharing with us this beauties 💜
