Hi Jonathan @afterglow, speaking of food, have you tried "Palapa", it's a Maranao condiment that is made of sakurab, local scallions? It's a really delicious accompaniment to their dishes. If you haven't yet, that's a must-try when visiting the region. I hope by next year, traveling becomes much easier.
