Here I am again, but with part 2 of my favorite adventures in Terepaima National Park. As I said in part 1, this park is protected by park/forest rangers and has a very good location on the map. Its climate varies depending on the altitude you are at and I will tell you how.

Cómo bien dije en la parte 1, este parque está protegido por los guarda parque/bosque y tiene una muy buena ubicación en el mapa. Su clima varía dependiendo de la altura en el que te encuentres y te contaré cómo
When you arrive at the park, you come across a sign that says ''Altitude 670 mts'', but really its altitude is between 300 and 1800 mts. It has an exaggeration in vegetation, many trees, plants, bushes, cactus and the best of all, is that in the park you can preserve every part of it. In fact, there are still parts of the park that have not been explored because it is so extensive and has an area of approximately 18,700 ha. In addition, its atmosphere is cloudy as you go up in altitude, the temperature in the park varies depending on the weather of the winter and summer seasons, between 16° to 27°. Whenever I manage to go to the park with my companions, I can never forget my coat and gloves to protect me from the cold, because at night and early morning, especially when it rains, the cold is a little unbearable.
Cuando llegas al parque, te topas con un letrero que dice ''Altitud 670 mts'', pero realmente su altitud está entre 300 y 1800 mts. Tiene una exageración en vegetación, muchos arboles, plantas, arbustos, cactus y lo mejor de todo, es que en el parque se preservar cada parte de los mismo. De hecho, todavía hay partes del parque que no se han explorado por lo extenso que es y cuenta con una superficie aproximada de 18.700 ha. Además, su ambiente es nublado a medida de que vayas subiendo de altura, la temperatura en el parque varía dependiendo del clima de las temporadas de invierno y verano, entre los 16° a 27°. Cada vez que logro ir hacía el parque con mis compañeros, jamás puedo olvidar mi abrigo y guantes para protegerme del frío, porque en las noches y madrugada, sobre todo cuando llueve, el frío es un poco insoportable.
The road at the beginning is full of many stones, but the road is extremely long and up to a certain point the mud road starts to get muddy because it starts to get wet, it rains every day. It is fun, the breeze collides with the mountains and they make a lot of noise, the sound is interesting because it is a roar that attracts too much attention.
El camino al inicio está lleno de muchas piedras, pero el camino es sumamente largo y hasta cierto punto comienza el camino de barro ya que ahí comienza la humedad, todos los días llueve. Es divertido, la brisa choca con las montañas y hacen mucho ruido, es interesante el sonido porque es un rugido que llama demasiado la atención.
When we arrived at the house where we would stay, the vegetation is magnificent, from there you could see the city completely, but when the fog came, you could not see anything. You feel like you are inside a cloud.
Al llegar a la casa donde nos hospedaríamos, la vegetación es magnifica, desde allí se podía apreciar la ciudad completamente, pero cuando llegaba la neblina, no se veía nada. Te sientes cómo dentro de una nube.
We decided to spend the night and enjoy a bit of nature in the dark, so while we waited for the night, we made a bonfire with the authorization of the forest rangers and made our dinner. In the pot we had some beans cooking and some arepas on the grill, we felt like we were having a barbecue.
Decidimos pernoctar y disfrutar un poco de la naturaleza en la oscuridad, así que mientras esperamos la noche, hicimos una fogata con la autorización de los guarda bosque e hicimos nuestra cena. En la olla teníamos unos granos cocinándose y unas arepas en la plancha, nos sentíamos en una parrillada.
One of my friends studies animals at night, so we decided to accompany him on this cautious adventure so as not to disturb the great fauna that was in the park. Let's remember that when we get to a park or forest, it is us humans who invade the space of those animals that live there, so they have every right to defend themselves, so we must respect the place where we are standing.
Uno de mis amigos estudia los animales en la noche, así que decidimos acompañarlo en esa aventura cautelosa para no molestar a la gran fauna que se encontraba en el parque. Recordemos que al llegar a un parque o bosque, somos nosotros los humanos quienes invadimos el espacio de aquellos animales que viven ahí, así que están en todo su derecho de defenderse, por ello debemos respetar el sitio en el que nos encontramos de pie.
Sometimes you can distinguish the moon in the dark because of the clouds in the park and the trees, so I was lucky to photograph it. Also, the sunrise was beautiful, I had never felt so close to the sky as on this occasion.
Aveces se puede distinguir la luna en la oscuridad por la nubosidad del parque y los arboles, así que tuve suerte de fotografiarla. Además, el amanecer fue hermoso, jamás me había sentido tan cerca del cielo cómo en esta ocasión.
At dawn, we decided to explore more of the park and went to a little explored river. The road there was quite steep, not because it was uphill, but because of the downhill and steep terrain, very dangerous. The best part of it all is that you are amazed along the way with everything you can get, between flowers, animals and spectacular sounds that nature gives us.
Al amanecer, decidimos explorar más el parque y fuimos a un río muy poco explorado. El camino hacía allá, era bastante fuerte, no por ser subida, sino por la bajada e inclinado que es el terreno, muy peligroso. Lo mejor del todo, es que te quedas maravillado en el camino con todo lo que puedes conseguir, entre flores, animales y sonidos espectaculares que la naturaleza nos regala.
The river water is too cold, I went in to cool off with my friends, but I didn't last 5 minutes in the water, I had to get out because it was too cold. I thought I would get hypothermia, but I was not far from it. The view is spectacular, very nice place to relax, meditate and enjoy nature, as long as we take care of the environment wisely.
El agua del río es demasiado fría, entré para refrescarme con mis amigos, pero no duré 5 minutos en el agua, tuve que salirme porque estaba muy fría. Pensé que me daría hipotermia, pero no estaba muy lejos de tenerla. La vista es espectacular, muy lindo lugar para relajarse, meditar y disfrutar de la naturaleza, siempre y cuando cuidemos el medio ambiente con prudencia.
On the way I managed to see butterflies, snakes, insects, beetles, ladybugs, birds, among other animals.
En el camino logré ver mariposas, serpientes, insectos, escarabajos, mariquitas, aves, entre otros animales.
I arrived home very hungry and sleepy, but with the best experience and adventure in this spectacular park of my beautiful country Venezuela. Thank you for sharing with me this reading tour, I hope to tell you about another trip soon.
