The place is amazing, I'm Italian and I have been there a couple of times. It's really nice also to explore the area around, and above all, to see so many foreign people being enthusiast of something that we almost take for granted. I hope you had fun in Italy π

Well you know, when people live from their birth in a tourist place, it's nothing special for them, but it is only for people that never seen that before.
You know, i live in lviv in Ukraine, and while many tourists exploring the architecture, and taking photos, its nothing special for me. Anyways, Pisa is amazing, and it was cool seeing this beautiful architecture masterpiece
I totally agree π it's the same for me in Sardinia. Tourists are fascinated by the sea doesn't matter what, on the other hand we locals are totally spoiled and snob, we choose a beach only if the wind is in a certain condition, otherwise "pfff, today it's not really crystal clear, better to go another day". I guess it's totally normal π
