RE: Climbing The Most Dangerous Ridge In Hong Kong - West Dog Teeth

in Worldmappin10 months ago

What a wonderful post. I've never been in your area of the world and these landscapes, so unusual for me, are doubly breathtaking due to the difference.
I think the mountain is a wonderful metaphor of what we have to experience in live, especially negative things. You think you can no longer endure them and you're going to call 911, then something in your mind asks you to stop, to take a breath and try to move ahead, to make another step, just another step.
I'm not surprised you managed to reach the top, and I know very well the emotion you feel once you're standing there watching the landscape. It doesn't matter what part of the world you're from, this sensation has no time or citizenship.

Thank you for showing, and a big hug from Sardinia, Italy :)

You found a metaphor in my experience, I love that!
Climbing is like life, anyway.. the trail can be challenging, but once we able to conquer it, it'll be rewarding.. the view itself is a great reward.. 😊
