Hello everybody
It's been a while since the last share, although i said i would do everything possible to maintain "normal" attendance, but once again for personal "professional" reasons i was forced to postpone.
The records i share today were made some time ago, but only today i had the opportunity to organize everything for this article.
After some time planning this visit, the day finally arrived to visit the charming Portuguese city of Águeda, curiosity took over me whenever i saw an article about this place, the stories i had heard about the unique architecture of the city, its narrow streets and, of course, the famous installation of colorful umbrellas that awaken in any traveler an immense desire to explore every corner of this peculiar place.
As soon as we arrived in Águeda, we were immediately seduced by the warm and authentic atmosphere. The historic center of the city was packed with tourists, predictably, all of them eager to witness the wonder of the colorful umbrellas that hovered majestically over their heads, the umbrellas are a spectacular artistic installation, stretching across the narrow streets and giving a unique charm to the place.
Walking through the streets of Águeda is like flipping through the pages of a history book, the architecture of the old houses, with their vibrantly colored facades and windows adorned with colorful flowers, transports us to a past full of tradition and culture, every corner reveals a new surprise.
As we explore the city, we can hear the gentle murmur of the river that runs through the city. The river is an essential part of city life, providing a sense of calm and tranquility amid the hustle of tourists. The banks of the river are adorned with trees and inviting benches, where locals and visitors alike sit to enjoy the serene and refreshing view.
The warm and sunny weather added even more to the charm of this visit, with the bright blue sky contrasting perfectly with the colorful umbrellas, creating a truly picturesque and unforgettable scene. Each step was accompanied by the cheerful shade of the umbrellas, providing welcome relief from the heat of the sun.
Águeda's relaxed atmosphere is contagious, accompanied by the presence of the always friendly and welcoming locals, and in every shop and cafe we entered, we were greeted with a friendly smile and a warm greeting. The local gastronomy did not disappoint either, ee tasted delicious delicacies, such as the famous roast suckling pig, which conquered my taste buds in an unexpected way.
In addition to the umbrellas, Águeda is also home to several points of interest, with highlights to the Town Square, the main church, with its imposing architecture of medieval origin, a symbol of the faith and history of the city, the vineyard and wine institute where we can also view some installations by Portuguese artists such as Pisco from Bordalo II and various Urban art spread throughout the city.
Walking through the cobbled alleys is a unique experience, as if you were walking back in time, discovering small hidden squares, charming corners and traditional shops selling local handicrafts, each discovery is a small reward for the adventure of exploring Águeda.
Unfortunately we didn't stay long enough to witness the spectacle that follows as the sun sinks below the horizon, the magical scenery of the city that takes on new nuances with the soft lights that come on, illuminating the colorful umbrellas, projecting dancing shadows on the walls of the streets, transforming the city into a true spectacle of colors and lights.
This visit was a real treat for the senses. The charming architecture of the city with its narrow streets and the impressive spectacle of the colorful umbrellas create a memory that is difficult to forget. The combination of history, culture and contemporary art makes Águeda a unique and unforgettable destination, and for that reason we will return for sure.

The design and architecture there are absolutely amazing. And I used to see with these colorful umbrella decorations, they just add so much charm to the already beautiful streets.
