In today's post I continue the story of my exploration of the Val Noana in Trentino Alto Adige.
To reach the place I visited you have to drive towards Mezzano and then from the main road follow the signs turning right towards the valley.
The stretch of road goes up the narrow valley and culminates in a convenient parking area served by comfortable tables and benches for picnics.

Nel post di oggi proseguo il racconto della mia esplorazione della Val Noana in Trentino Alto Adige.
Per raggiungere il luogo che ho visitato bisogna guidare verso Mezzano e poi dalla strada principale seguire le indicazioni svoltando a destra verso la valle.
Il tratto di strada risale la stretta valle e culmina in un comodo parcheggio servito da comodi tavoli e panchine per fare pic nic.
From there you can start 3 trails.
One is the path of the large fir trees that I have already told you in a previous post.
Today's path is called Fonteghi and it is really beautiful!

Uno è il sentiero dei grandi abeti che vi ho già raccontato in un precedente post.
Il sentiero di oggi si chiama Fonteghi ed è proprio bello!
To keep me company during the departure there was a nice cat looking for caresses...

The first thing that surprised me was the fountain with running water.
In all the places I visited in Trentino the fountains were closed due to the drought.

In tutti i posti che ho visitato in Trentino le fontane erano chiuse a causa della siccità.
The path begins on the flat along a stone road which is suitable for vehicles as it leads to a small village which I will then reach.

Il sentiero inizia in piano lungo una strada di sassi che è carrabile in quanto porta ad un piccolo borgo che poi raggiungerò.
The fir forest is very beautiful, I think it's great for mushroom enthusiasts.

A section of the path is characterized by a very suggestive rocky wall.

Then you come out of the woods and come to a beautiful large meadow with only the path to cross it.

Successivamente si esce dal bosco e si giunge ad un bellissimo ampio prato con soloil sentiero ad attraversarlo.
After a slight climb you arrive at a small village of traditional mountain houses made of stone and wood.

Dopo una leggera salita si arriva ad un piccolo borgo di tradizionali casette di montagna fatte di pietra e legno.
There I had a chat with some locals while a handsome Labrador played with some children.
ITA
Lì ho fatto due chiacchere con alcune persone del posto mentre un bel labrador giocava con dei bambini.
I then decided to continue along a very steep path towards the Fonteghi refuge.

Ho deciso poi di proseguire lungo un sentiero molto scosceso verso il rifugio Fonteghi.
The sky was clearing, it seems to urge me to continue.

Il cielo si stava schiarendo, sembra incitarmi a proseguire.
I had arrived at the paved road that leads to the Fonteghi refuge, when I found myself in front of this scene...

Ero arrivato alla strada asfaltata che porta al rifugio Fonteghi, quando mi sono trovato di fronte a questa scena...

At 30 meters there was the refuge and on the left just under a bridge, an unexpected thing.
ITA
A 30 metri c'era il rifugio e sulla sinistra proprio sotto ad un ponte, una cosa inaspettata.
A place where canyoning is taught!
It's a discipline I've never tried but I'd like to do.
Walking on the creek bed and sliding on the rocks, jumping, etc., must be beautiful!

E' una disciplina che non ho mai provato ma mi piacerebbe fare.
Camminare sul greto del torrente e scivolare sulle rocce, saltare ecc, deve essere bellissimo!
From this point there are also many excursions to do, I have already planned them!

Since it was a bit late then I decided to go back but to do so I wanted to go back to the village for another path.

Dato che era un po' tardi poi ho deciso di tornare indietro ma per farlo ho voluto tornare verso il borgo per un altro sentiero.
A steep path but offered a nice view over the landscape.

Un sentiero ripido ma offriva una bella visuale sul paesaggio.
How beautiful these mountain landscapes, they put me in a good mood!

I had almost reached the village and was delighted by the mountain range in the background...

It was a nice hike and not very busy even though it was August.
