Another special day along the Atlantic Coast of Argentina, this time we headed to San Clemente del Tuyú, a town about 2 hours away from Villa Gesell. The trip starts at 7:30 AM and why go to San Clemente? Well, we will take our little daughter to see Mundo Marino, a large area of land where marine and terrestrial species are housed. This animal conservation space has a large aquarium for the return of marine species to their natural habitat after their necessary care.
Otro día especial por la Costa Atlántica de Argentina, esta vez nos dirigimos a San Clemente del Tuyú, localidad a unas 2 horas de distancia de Villa Gesell. El viaje inicia a las 7.30AM y porque ir a San Clemente?, pues llevaremos a nuestra pequeña hija a conocer Mundo Marino, una gran extensión de terreno donde albergan especies marinas y terrestres. Este espacio de conservación animal, posee un gran acuario destinado a la reirsención de especies marinas a su habitad natural luego de sus cuidados necesarios.
This place is really interesting, because it not only allows you to appreciate and get to know first-hand and in a didactic way the different terrestrial and marine species that inhabit this part of the world, such as: peacocks, goats, sheep, dolphins, sharks, killer whales, penguins, sea lions, among others; but also that we were able to learn that many of the species that inhabit the marine world were rescued and that they will soon be returned to their wild life.
Este lugar es realmente interesante, porque no solo permite apreciar y conocer de primera mano y de manera didáctica las diferentes especies terrestres y marinas que habitan en esta parte del mundo, tales como: pavos reales, cabras, ovejas, delfines, tiburones, orcas, pingúinos, lobos marinos, entre otros; sino también que pudimos conocer que muchas de las especies que habitan en mundo marino fueron rescatadas y que pronto serán devueltas a su vida silvestre.
In a special way, we saw a refuge where a colony of Magellanic Penguins born in Mundo Marino live. The conservationists recreated an environment with characteristics similar to a natural colony, in which this species categorized as "near threatened" is protected. Didactic talks are also given in the place to learn about curiosities about them and the intense conservation work that is carried out in the Mundo Marino Foundation and in Mundo Marino.
De manera especial, vimos un refugio donde viven una colonia de Pingüinos Magallánicos nacidos en Mundo Marino. Los conservacionistas, recrearon un ambiente con características similares a una colonia natural, en la cual se protege a esta especie categorizada como "casi amenazada". También se dan charlas didácticas en el lugar para conocer curiosidades sobre ellos y el intenso trabajo de conservación que se realiza en la Fundación Mundo Marino y en Mundo Marino.
This was a wonderful opportunity to see and meet animals that in our country of origin (Venezuela) do not exist such as: penguins and Orcas, the most important being the conservation, preservation and care of the environment to avoid the extinction of these specimens incredible. This place leaves a teaching that we should all apply: TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT THAT SURROUNDS US. I hope you liked this post. See you in another part of the world.😉
Esta fue una oportunidad Maravillosa de ver y conocer animales que en nuestro pais de Origen (Venezuela) no existen tales como: pingúinos y Orcas, siendo lo mas importantes la conservación, preservación y cuidado del medio ambiente para evitar la extinción de estos ejemplares increibles. Este lugar deja una enseñanza que todos debemos aplicar: CUIDAR EL MEDIO QUE NOS RODEA. Espero les haya gustado este post. Nos vemos en otro lugar del mundo😉
