Hello friends,

Unfortunately, I haven't been in touch lately because I have been very busy with moving and relocating, but yesterday was a very important day for me as I celebrated my birthday with my family.

I turned 26, which honestly feels like a lot to me, but in reality, I still feel very young, with many ambitions and countless dreams I want to fulfill in my life.

I hope to be able to get around a bit this weekend because I managed to find a flight back to Sicily. I wanted to celebrate my birthday with my family since, unfortunately, I see them too little, but such is life; you have to make choices to achieve your dreams.

Just yesterday, I took a small walk near where I was born. It had been quite some time since I had been to these parts. I found everything very dry; unfortunately, it hasn't rained much here in the south compared to northern Italy, and you can see this by taking a few steps in nature.

Here we are in the area of Termini Imerese, surely a place some of you might have seen if you traveled between Messina and Palermo. There aren't particularly high mountains here, but there are rather barren hills as you can see from the photos, with no special crops.

I just remember that when I was little, these areas were somewhat used for grazing, maybe cows and sheep, but then this work has somewhat fallen into neglect, probably because it's no longer profitable.
I hope to bring some higher-quality content, maybe take some more photos, but I often forget to do this. I always read beautiful posts here in the community with fantastic photos, and I feel a bit inadequate with my post.

Anyway, see you soon. I hope you also have a wonderful weekend with your family! Kisses!
