Today I will take a trip with you to the historical place - the Kuskovo Manor Museum. This estate is located in the east of Moscow and it is convenient to get there not only for Muscovites, but also for residents of the nearest cities that are nearby. The entrance to the territory costs only about 50 cents. And if you want to visit palaces and museums, then additional tickets cost only a few dollars.

Сегодня я с вами совершим путешествие в историческое место - музей усадьбу Кусково. Эта усадьба находится на востоке Москвы и туда удобно добираться не только москвичам, но и жителям ближайших городов, которые находятся поблизости. Вход туда на территорию стоит всего около 50 центов. А если вы хотите посетить дворцы и музеи , то дополнительные билеты стоят всего несколько долларов.
I go there quite often, as this is one of the favorite places for newlyweds and when I photograph weddings, we often go here for a walk after the registry office. Sometimes I come here just to enjoy my vacation and imagine that I got to the 18th or 19th century.
Я достаточно часто там бываю, так как это одно из любимых мест у молодоженов и когда я фотографирую свадьбы, то мы часто едем сюда на прогулку после загса. Иногда я приезжаю сюда просто так, чтоб насладиться своим отдыхом и представить, что я попал в 18 или 19 век.
This manor has completely preserved its historical appearance and feature films about kings, palace intrigues and the life of secular society are often shot here.
By the way, anyone can rent a carriage with horses here and feel like a nobleman and even a king))
Эта усадьба полностью сохранила свой исторический вид и тут часто снимают художественные фильмы о царях, дворцовых интригах и жизни светского общества.
Кстати, тут можно любому человеку арендовать карету с лошадьми и почувствовать себя дворянином и даже царем))
And now about the history of this estate:
the first Kuskovo was mentioned at the end of the XVI century and already as the possession of the Sheremetevs. In 1623-1624, there was a wooden church, a boyar's yard, and the courtyards of serfs. Kuskovo remained in the possession of the Sheremetevs for more than three hundred years, until 1917.
The village of Kuskovo as the family patrimony of the Sheremetevs has been known since the XVI century. The marriage between the heirs of the Counts Sheremetevs, Peter Borisovich, and the Princes of Cherkassy, Varvara Alekseevna, allowed the lands around Kuskov to be united into an extensive estate.
In the 1750s and 1770s, according to the plan of Peter Sheremetev, an extensive estate with a palace, many "entertainment ventures", a large park and ponds was created in Kuskovo. The creation of this ensemble is closely connected with the names of fortress architects Fyodor Argunov and Alexei Mironov. The architectural complex was created in the early classical style of the mid-second half of the XVIII century.
In those years, the Kuskovo estate spread over an area of 230 hectares (for comparison, it now occupies 26 hectares). These included hunting grounds, picturesque surrounding fields, meadows, and groves. A special decoration of the estate was the menagerie — a kind of zoo of that time — here you could see hares, wolves, foxes and even deer.
А теперь об истории этой усадьбы:
первые Кусково упоминается в конце XVI века и уже как владение Шереметевых. В 1623—1624 годах здесь стояли деревянная церковь, боярский двор, дворы крепостных людей. Во владении Шереметевых Кусково оставалось более трёхсот лет, вплоть до 1917 года.
Село Кусково как родовая вотчина Шереметевых известно с XVI века. Брак между наследниками графов Шереметевых — Петром Борисовичем, — и князей Черкасских — Варварой Алексеевной, — позволил объединить земли вокруг Кускова в обширное имение.
В 1750—1770-х годах по замыслу Петра Шереметева в Кускове была создана обширная усадьба с дворцом, многими «увеселительными затеями», большим парком и прудами. Создание этого ансамбля тесно связано с именами крепостных архитекторов Фёдора Аргунова и Алексея Миронова. Архитектурный комплекс создан в раннеклассицистическом стиле середины-второй половины XVIII в.
В те годы усадьба Кусково раскинулась на территории 230 гектар (для сравнения сейчас она занимает 26 гектар). Сюда входили — охотничьи угодья, живописные окрестные поля, луга, рощи. Особым украшением усадьбы был зверинец — своеобразный зоопарк того времени — здесь можно было увидеть зайцев, волков, лисиц и даже оленей.
