We will go again to the Orthodox Christian center of Russia, which you probably did not know about before.
This is the Shamordino Monastery, which is located in the Kaluga region.

I went there with an excursion in a large company by bus. We drove from Moscow for about 3 hours, even a little longer. It's great when you can sit relaxed and look out the window at the scenery.

Я ездил туда с экскурсией в большой компании на автобусе. Из Москвы мы ехали около 3 часов, даже чуть-чуть подольше. Это здорово, когда можно сидеть расслабленно и смотреть в окно на открывающиеся пейзажи.

I was struck by the architecture of the Christian church and other premises on the territory of the monastery. There is also a holy spring and a font in which you need to plunge three times. Here you need to have a lot of mental strength, since the water is icy, only + 4 Celsius. But after that, everyone who does it gets a boost of energy from nature.

Меня поразила архитектура христианского храма и других помещений на территории монастыря. Также там есть святой источник и купели, в которые необходимо окунуться три раза. Тут надо иметь много душевных сил, так как вода ледяная, всего +4 по цельсию. Но после каждый, кто это делает, получает заряд энергии от природы.

The monastery was founded in 1884, so it is not very old, but it is one of the spiritual centers of Russia.

Монастырь был основан в 1884 году, так что он не очень старый, но является одним из духовных центров России.
